Rolling Stones legend Mick Jagger may be 73-years-old, but he still lives the life of a 33-year-old. It was just announced on Thursday that Jagger and his 30-year-old girlfriend, Melanie Hamrick, just had a new baby together. The is the first baby of theirs that Hamrick has given birth too. For Jagger, this is the eighth child that he’s fathered.
Hamrick is an American and a professional ballet dancer. Jagger is a British rock and roll legend who probably didn’t expect to still be fathering children at his age. A representative for Jagger told E! News that the singer was at the hospital with his girlfriend as she delivered the baby. Hamrick and their baby made it through the delivery just fine and they appear to be perfectly healthy. It is unknown right now what the name of their new baby is, or if they have yet to decide on a name.
Hamrick reportedly started dating Jagger in 2014, but their relationship was kept pretty much private from the media. Back in July, Jagger’s representative did make a statement about Hamrick being pregnant with the singer’s child. Jagger currently has 7 other children from 4 previous relationships, whose ages range from 18 all the way up to 47. In addition, he has 5 grandchildren as well.
Jagger apparently isn’t the only old rock legend to be fathering children late in life. Ronnie Wood, who is the 69-year-old bandmate of Jagger, has also become a father again. Back in May of this year, his 38-year-old wife, Sally Humphreys, gave birth to their new twin daughters. Wood already has 4 other children from multiple relationships and 6 grandchildren. It must be nice to be an old living legend who can form relationships with beautiful younger women. A layman person their age would probably never want to be a father again, but these two rockers can certainly afford it.
