Nintendo is now starting to create games for mobile devices. Their very first mobile game “Super Mario Run” is going to be available for the Apple iPhone very soon. It is speculated to be a game that looks like a traditional Super Mario game, but doesn’t necessarily feel like one. Obviously, the creators of the game had to accommodate for the smartphone’s lack of controls, since it is just a touch screen and not a video game controller.
In Super Mario Run, the title really speaks for itself because the character Mario will be running automatically in the game. All the user has to do is control Mario’s jumping as he approaches various obstacles and has the opportunity to collect coins. Therefore, you could play this game with one hand just like other mobile games such as Angry Birds. Super Mario Run will feel like something similar where you just have to tap the screen to make Mario jump at the right time. It may sound basic, but the graphics and sounds of the game seem fantastic. If you are a fan of the Mario games on Wii and 3DS, then you’ll love this game on the iPhone.
Nintendo is an iconic Japanese video game company which is known for creating some of the best video game franchises of all time including Super Mario Bros, The Legend of Zelda, and Donkey Kong. These successes can be attributed to acclaimed Japanese video game designer Shigeru Miyamoto. For the past 30 years, Miyamoto helped make Nintendo a brand that is synonymous with these games. This helped launch Nintendo into making a series of additional consoles throughout the years to allow gamers to play more advanced games for these franchises.
